In a heartwarming message to his anticipating fans, Maarten Hoogstraten announced - "I want to do it for both of us...", after Paul Baumer succumed to cancer on December 17, 2013.  Understandably, the fans of the Bingo Players had been left to wonder whether Maarten could bear the reins all solo. "Bingo Players will always be plural", declared Maarten.

Before Paul's death, he had insisted on Maarten continuing with Bingo Players. There was too much of hard work involved and the journey had only begun for them to even think of giving up. Wiping out all speculations, the Bingo Players' name appeared in the EDC Mexico lineup in 2014 and their music lived on inspite of the loss of Paul. Around the same time, the group released "Knock You Out". It became number one on the US dance chart.

2015, the Bingo Players are back with "Nothing To Say" for Hysteria in style. This time, it has been tailor-made for the clubs. It has a rousing beat that has had dance floors from Vegas to Amsterdam raving. With their performance calender being filled till June 2015 already, it seems that Maarten Hoogstraten has truly kept his promise to his fans.

If anyone would ever replace Paul Baumer? That, only time can say. Talking of the present, Paul's spirit still remains in whatever Maarten does as Bingo Players. He is doing a fabulous job in continuing the name and legacy of the group.
